What a week for the club last week with the ladies section hosting and winning the Gloucestershire Ladies County Golf Association's Team championships. In what was the first time the ladies had won the championships in 20 years of trying.
On a glorious summers day at the club 14 clubs took part with Ross narrowly beating Bristol & Clifton golf club by count back on the fourth card. Pat Watkins, Kerry Welding, Helen Palmer and Hannah Whibley did it for the ladies with some fantastic golf on the day.
All take lessons with the THSG and LPH working hard on their games throughout the year. Hannah Whibley capped off a great week with also winning the Mary Beavis trophy at the club.
