Have you started your improvement program ready for the 2018 season ?? If you haven't you need to start now and our group sessions offer a fantastic opportunity to start learning. Through December we will be covering 4 of the key areas to improving your scoring, driving of the Tee, approach play shots, pitching/chipping and bunker play. If we improve in just one of these areas in December i can guarantee an improved mindset heading into 2018.
Our group clinics provide a continuous improvement program to all our golfers here at THSG. They are fantastic way to learn about key areas of performance both on and off the course.
Saturday 9th December 9-00am-10-00am - Supercharge Your Driver Swing
Venue - Driving Range / Driver
Out on tour on both the mens and ladies we are seeing increases in driving distances year on year, un yet in the amateur game we can't say the same. In this clinic we will look at the principles in creating better movement patterns, something we see consistent in all great players. We will also talk about how we can create more power and efficiency in our swings by using the ground better.
Sunday 10th December 1pm-2pm - Hit Laser Like Irons
Venue - Driving Range / Mid Irons 6,7,8 irons
We will talk about the importance of set-up and in particular the key role that ball position plays in consistency. If your wanting to hit more greens in 2018 this clinic will give you the tools to practice the right aspects in better ball striking from any lie. We will also cover the key in-swing movements that we see all great players make.
Friday 15th December 1pm-2pm - Short Game Secrets
Venue - On Course / SW, PW, 9, 8
Do you want to Pitch and Chip like the Pro's in 2018 ?? This is a key area of the game for all abilities and a part of the game that can really knock shots of your scores. During this session we will cover the importance of being 'ClubFace Aware' and also talk about using the "Bounce' to chip with. We will also give you a great practice exercise to help you get the most out of the season.
Wednesday 27th Dec 10am-11am - Fearless Bunker Play
Venue - On Course / LW, PW, 9 iron
We will cover short, medium and longer length bunker shots talking about distance control and shot trajectory, but first of all go through the basics at set up. This has certainly changed over the years and been taught very differently from coach to coach. We will clear things up and give you a technique to follow that is simple and easy to get hold of. Its often the most feared shot in golf, you will walk away from this session looking forward to the next bunker shot!!
