We are excited to announce that we are taking our Indoor winter skills league to new levels this year. Our new look format is streamlined to offer a great solution to winter golf in the warmth of our performance lab at the club. We have added new challenges with a fairer handicapping system to suit all ages and abilities. We have also added a social element to the league with finals nights held at the club for everyone to attend.
Our most exciting change has to be the addition of our new GC2 Quad launch monitor and software. This means more playability, 6 new courses including Wentworth, weekly nearest the pin challenges, a new look skills test and easier game play. We have even tinkered about with the format to make it easier and more fun to play in.
The Details -
£40 per pair which includes 2 rotations of challenges. In the first rotation leading upto Christmas we will have 4 rounds to complete, then into the new year we will complete 6 rounds. After each rotation prizes will be awarded. The challenges will prodomently be in a pairs format with special indoor handicap allowances, we will again have our 6 hole challenge, putting challenges and skills testing around iron play.
1st Rotation - The Race To The THSG Turkey
This will be the first rotation of 4 group rounds (spread over 7 weeks), you will be drawn in a group of 4 other pairs, playing each round by the designated cut off date. The winner of each group will playoff on the finals night (Thursday 21st December).
2nd Rotation - The Race To The THSG Easter Bunny
This will be the 2nd rotation of 6 group rounds starting on Monday 1st January. We will keep to the same format of rounds culminating on the finals night on Friday 30th March.
This year our weekly nearest the pin challenges will be £1 to enter for 3 attempts, for the first time ever you will have the opportunity to choose your own hole and your own tees. Another twist to this challenge is you can have unlimited goes. On each finals night all competitors will be invited to come and watch the teams that have qualified and enjoy drinks and nibbles put on by the THSG.

**** PLEASE NOTE - NEW FOR 2017/18, each competitor that enters the skills league receives free use of the THSG performance lab throughout the duration of the competition. This includes practice play time, 7 days a week. ****
