Two weeks ago on a blisteringly hot Saturday team THSG and the junior section got involved in the Ross on Wye carnival. It was a great event which allowed us to showcase what the club offers too thousands of the people in the local area.
We were positioned on the rope walk down by the rowing club, which was where the carnival procession ended. We had enough room to set up our inflatable golf net to give golf lessons in and also Tri-golf games for the kids.
I would like to personally thank Julia Wilde, Cass Todd, Frank Gallagher and all of the ROWGC juniors that helped out on the day. It was a great day for the club. Our next event will be the Newent Onion Fayre on Saturday 10th September. If you are interested in helping out please let us know.
