THSG pupil Jordan Hughes has enjoyed great success at the club this year winning numerous competitions. Jordan has been a regular to many of our groups coaching sessions over the years and has come up through our academy.
This year we have watched his handicap drop from 25 to 12 in the space of 7 months. He was one of the youngest ever winners of the ROWGC mens open and now is a regular in the mens and junior team.
Whats been the secret to Jordan's improvements ..............Simple posture changes have helped Jordan build a better foundation to his golf swing. As you can see below, Jordan struggled to have enough tilt from the hips at the start of the season causing inconsistencies in his club path and awareness of clubface.
Like all initial changes things felt a little strange at set-up for a time, but regular practice sessions helped Jordan trust the changes and put them into play to devastating effect.
Jordan's improvements hadn't come un-noticed and the competitions committee had no hesitation in awarding him with this impressive accolade.
