Kate & Josh Bibby are now back with us after a successful trip at the US Kids World championships at the Pinehurst resort in USA.
Kate played in the Under 12’s championships on the world-renowned Pinehurst No3 course and finished 73rd out of 138 players. Kate was unlucky with her draw being caught out in horrendous weather conditions, but she showed good grit and returned some very respectable scores.
This was Josh’s first ever world championships playing in the under 10’s on Legacy golf links. He also did fantastic showing great determination over the three rounds.
When I spoke with them on their return they both loved the whole experience and will certainly return to the championships next year, stronger, bigger and better!!
