James gives us an update this week on his season so far playing in many national events across the country. This year has been my first full season of golf playing in every event from club competition to national competition.
It has not been the season I have been looking for so far but my game feels in great shape heading into English amateur and for the rest of my season, I just need to stay patient and let the scores come instead of forcing them.
I am continuously working hard on my game to get it to the standard I need it at. I've been working hard with all my coaches all through the year to make sure this happens.
My handicap the start of this year was 1.0 and has now come down to +0.2 so it's going the way I want!!
I would just like to thank all the members who have been so kind in helping me with sponsorship this year, without their support I wouldn't be able to do what I have this year in being able to play all my events.
Their help has given me the opportunity to reach my dream in golf and for that I can not thank you all enough.
