Last weekend Alex Duncanson won the prestigious Traders cup and Mike lane trophy with some unbelievable golf.
It was double delight for Alex last weekend when he shot a 68 gross to take both the Traders Cup and Mike Lane trophy. His 68 which included 6 birdies was enough to see off Niall Powell by just one shot who also shot a 68 on the day.
This was the first year that the Traders cup and Mike lane trophy were played over 36 holes which went down very well with the competitors.
The Traders cup is the clubs oldest competition stretching back over 60 years. The cup was donated by the the local traders in the town of Ross-on-Wye.
