The junior forum organised a special competition for the whole juniors at the club last Friday. As ever we had great fun with some great golf being played. The night was designed to help our younger juniors get used to course play, scoring, course management and playing with experienced golfers.
The night was designed to help our younger juniors get used to course play, scoring, course management and playing with experienced golfers. We played a Florida scramble over 9 holes with some awesome scores by all teams.
It was a family affair at the top of the leader board with Niall, Leo and Jason Powell scoring the lowest of the night. This included an eagle on the 6th hole with Niall drive, Jason 2nd shot and Leo knocking the putt in!!
It was great to pack out the clubhouse after with all the competitors enjoying sandwiches and chips laid on by the forum.
